  1. You can be sure that Preston would be very proud of his father today for what you have accomplished.

  3. David,
Each morning when I get to work, I've been logging in to see where you are, and what you've done so far in your trip. And each morning, I've laughed a little and cried a little. What you've done is so great. I never got to meet Preston, but he was obviously a great guy with a great sense of humor. You should be proud of what you've accomplished. God bless and be careful coming home.

  4. You're an amazing father. I know that Preston is finally at peace because you came through on your promise. Wish I could have been there to give you a big hug and to touch his can one more time.

You gave him simply the best send off anyone could have asked for, including PH.

  6. I feel oddly at peace now knowing that Preston is exactly where he wants to be. I feel honored knowing that his father was a man who would go to such great lengths to make his son's wishes come true. He was obviously cut from the same cloth as you, Dave, because you are both amazing men. Wishing you godspeed on your return trip, and all the best in the years to come.

  7. Got back from my summer break and saw you at the PGR mission in Georgetown where you wrote down the address for this blog. Not knowing you very long, I had no idea that your son had passed away and for that I am truly sorry. As a motorcycle rider myself I have been on some long trips but nothing like the one you just returned from. Impressed about the miles ridden? Yes. Impressed about fulfilling your promise? VERY ! Glad that you made it home safely and now it's time to get on the bus and drive :-) God Bless you and your family ---- Thanks for sharing *** Sincerely, Cliff Berry
